30+ years of software engineering. TOGAF (No:48359) -certified since 2011 — among the earliest globally.

Current focus areas:

  • Legacy modernisation — turning inherited systems into assets, not liabilities
  • AI/LLM architecture — agent design, MCP integration, enterprise governance of AI
  • Systems programming — C23, memory models, zero-overhead abstractions

Earlier: distributed VAR calculation at Barclays Capital (1997–1999), architected over IBM MQ and COM/C++ — a P2P compute pattern that prefigured modern distributed systems and observability.
