Why is my weekly agenda empty?

In my refile.org after pressing oc I have this but Agenda view for the week is empty, why?

Because you didn't set an active date on your todo.[] is inactive date, <> is active. Set it like this:

* TODO Test
<2026-05-25 Mon>

I see, thanks! Do I have to set it as an active date every time or can I configure it in options? The configuration is a little confusing

To be visible in the agenda, you need to set it always as an active date.
You can also add prefix DEADLINE: or SCHEDULED: so it's shown differently in the agenda. For example:

* TODO Test
DEADLINE: <2026-05-25 Mon>

That part is not configurable, it's how orgmode syntax is defined.
