Should users be able to add multiple distinct values for open enumerations?

How can you add multiple additional prognostic variables? I can add one, but the list is not exhaustive and some may wish to add many.

Currently, users can only add a single string of text. Albeit, they could separate distinct values with commas, but perhaps a better method is called for.
